Saturday Night

I could spend my weekends like a normal college kid

drinking with friends

having promiscuous sex

with anyone who gives us a feeling

close enough to love

I could just sit here

and philosophize about the tragedy of the human condition

pretending I’m making a difference 

but I’d rather just listen to music

and think about you
